What is a biome?

A biome is a classification of an area based on climate, geography, rainfall, adaptations of vegetation, animals in the area, and many other factors. The larger and more abundant biomes include temperate grasslands, deserts, forests, savannas, tundras, and several others. Each biome is unique and differ from the others greatly.
